Personal Training Malta
If you want a coach in the room with you every session, watching your form, adjusting the weight, and tracking your numbers, personal training in Malta with F15 Training CENTR is built for that. Our 1-to-1 sessions run from our Msida facility and are delivered by Coach Geri and Coach Lazar, both working under the coaching standards set by Head Coach Victor.
This page is for people who want focused attention rather than a group setting, at least to start. Maybe you have never trained before. Maybe you are coming back after a long break, a pregnancy, or an injury. Maybe you have trained for years but your snatch, your pull-up, or your squat depth is still not where you want it. Personal training gives you the room to fix those things properly.
What 1-to-1 personal training at F15 covers
Our personal trainers work with members on a wide range of goals. The most common are:
- Beginners who are not ready for a group class yet and want to build confidence first
- Returning trainers who have been away from the gym for months or years
- Post-injury return, where movement needs to be scaled and progressed carefully
- Technique correction on barbell lifts, gymnastics skills, and conditioning movements
- Weight loss support combined with nutrition guidance and InBody tracking
- Specific strength goals, such as a first pull-up, a heavier deadlift, or a stronger press
- Accountability, where having a fixed appointment with a coach keeps training consistent
Sessions are programmed for you. The coach decides the warm-up, the main work, the accessories, and the conditioning based on what you walked in with that day and where you are heading over the next block of training.
For people returning to training after injury, structured coaching and scalable movements give you a way back in without guessing. We are not a clinical rehab service, but we work alongside the plan your physio or doctor has set.
Why train in Msida
The Msida location is central. If you live or work in Sliema, Gzira, Birkirkara, San Gwann, Pieta, or Valletta, you are within a short drive. The harbour-side road network makes it practical to fit a session in before work, at lunch, or in the evening without a long commute eating into your day.
Msida is also our main operating facility, which means full access to the kit you need for proper coaching: barbells and bumper plates for strength work, rigs for gymnastics progressions, SkiErg, RowErg, Assault Bike, and sled lanes for conditioning. You are not training in a corner of a commercial gym hoping a squat rack is free.
What a personal training session looks like
Every new member, including those going straight into 1-to-1 work, starts with a 30-minute no-sweat intro. This is a consultation, not a workout. We talk through your background, what you have tried before, what worked and what did not, your schedule, and what you actually want from training. From there we build a plan.
The first block of work for every new client is four personal training sessions with Coach Owain. These sessions teach the foundations: how to move under a barbell, how scaling works, how to read a workout, and how to train at the right intensity for you. After those four sessions, some members move into group classes, and others continue with ongoing 1-to-1 work with Coach Geri or Coach Lazar based on their goals.
Within an ongoing personal training session, expect:
- A warm-up tailored to that day's main work
- Strength or skill work with hands-on coaching cues
- A conditioning piece scaled to your current fitness
- Notes recorded so the next session builds on this one
Progress is reviewed using a benchmark workout and an InBody scan, repeated every three months so you can see what has actually changed.
