Personal Training in Msida
Personal training in Msida works best when the plan matches the person in front of the coach. At F15 Training CENTR, one-to-one sessions are built around your starting point, your schedule, and the specific outcome you want, whether that is losing weight, getting stronger, returning to training after time off, or preparing for a HYROX race. Sessions run at our Msida facility with Coach Geri and Coach Lazar, both of whom deliver personal training as part of the coaching team led by Head Coach Victor.
What personal training at F15 covers
Personal training is a private, focused service. It suits people who are not yet ready for group classes, people who lack confidence in a gym setting, people coming back from injury, and people who want faster technique correction than a class environment allows. It also suits members who already attend group classes and want extra accountability on specific lifts or conditioning work.
Common reasons members choose one-to-one sessions in Msida:
- Building a base of strength before joining CrossFit or HYROX classes
- Weight loss support paired with nutrition guidance
- Correcting technique on the snatch, clean, deadlift, or squat
- Rebuilding fitness after a long break, pregnancy, or injury
- Preparing for a specific event or race with individualised programming
- Training around a schedule that does not line up with class times
Personal training can also be combined with an InBody scan and a benchmark workout so progress is tracked with real numbers, not guesswork. Every three months, members repeat their benchmark and InBody scan to compare where they were with where they are now.
Why Msida is a practical location
Msida sits at the centre of Malta's road network, which makes it one of the easier locations to reach from Sliema, Gzira, Ta' Xbiex, Birkirkara, Pieta, Hamrun, and Valletta. If you work near the university, the harbour, or the surrounding commercial zones, a lunchtime or after-work personal training slot fits into the day without a long drive at either end.
The Msida facility is also where the full F15 coaching team operates day to day, so a personal training programme here has direct access to the same equipment, methodology, and progression system used in group classes. If and when you move into classes, nothing about your technique or scaling needs to be re-taught.
What a personal training session looks like
Before your first session, every new client at F15 Training CENTR completes a 30-minute no-sweat intro. This is a consultation, not a workout. You will talk through your goals, past training experience, current fitness level, any injuries or restrictions, your schedule, and what kind of support suits you. From there, your coach recommends a route forward.
For clients starting from scratch, that route usually begins with four personal training sessions with Coach Owain. These sessions build the foundations, basic movement patterns, how to scale a workout, how the classes are structured, and how to train at the right intensity for your level. Once those four sessions are complete, you have the option to continue with ongoing personal training under Coach Geri or Coach Lazar, join group classes, or combine both.
A typical ongoing session includes:
- A warm-up matched to what you are working on that day
- Technique work on a primary movement, for example the squat, deadlift, press, or an Olympic lift
- Strength or conditioning work programmed against your goal
- Accessory work for weak points, mobility, or injury prevention
- A short debrief on what to focus on before the next session
Sessions are private, coached from start to finish, and adjusted as you progress.
How to start
The first step is the same for everyone: book a no-sweat intro. In 30 minutes, you and the coach will agree on whether personal training on its own, group classes, or a combination is the right fit. Bring questions. Bring context. Nothing is a workout on day one.
You can read the full process on the how to start at F15 Training CENTR page, or head straight to our homepage for an overview of everything the Msida facility offers.
Ready to book? Start with a no-sweat intro and we will build the plan from there.
If you are still weighing up whether one-to-one coaching or group classes suit you better, the intro is also the right place to work that out. Book your consultation and bring your questions to the table.
